Wireless Data Systems has signed a contract to design and construct a microwave communications system for a large power provider in Kansas. This multi-year project will connect the utilities critical infrastructure throughout their service territory, providing an IP based network to carry the companies SCADA, AMI, VoIP, and corporate data. The scope of the project will include the construction of over 60 communications towers, and cover approximately a quarter of the state of Kansas.

Wireless Data Systems has completed a microwave backhaul project for Praire Power. The project utilized Ceragon IP20G split mount microwave equipment to augment their existing fiber network.
Wireless Data Systems completed the installation of two microwave paths for Aldi Corp in Batavia Illinois. Utilizing Ceragon IP20C all outdoor radios, these paths provide 1 Gbps of throughput between Aldi’s corporate office and a newly renovated office building 5 miles away. Although there was no line of sight between buildings, the WDS team was able to design a solution utilizing an intermediate site.
